I remember a time when I thought that the ocean was the creator of sea glass. Now I know that man made waste and nature made beauty of it. This could be true of many things. I do my very best to look for the ways that the world makes beauty out of things that are less than. It’s more than making lemonade from lemons. It’s making water from sand. I remember a silly poster from a studio when I took dance. It said something about taking more muscles to frown than smile, so you might as well smile. Let us all look for ways to be the water over sharp pieces of glass. Let us all strive to find the beauty in the mundane. The truth is that the sun offers warmth as it bleaches color from our bones. Be with me as I choose to feel the wonder of the warmth. Let us be together as we ignore the burn.
