and one to grow on
this is my favorite time of year. while, i love to see my flowering trees in bloom. i also revel in the beauty of the leaves as they turn from greens to yellows, oranges, and reds. i would like to get to a place where i can appreciate myself in all of my many stages. balance has always been a struggle for me. in my flowering stage i am full of energy and hope and love. as i turn to the colors of fall my mood grows melancholy. i have always embraced these sides of myself but have as of late found it too difficult to remove the shroud. to lift up again. is it age? is it what is happening around me? whether internal or external, i am embarking to fight for placidity. i am reteaching myself how to move through this world. it may mean leaving mania to the past. i can only hope that with that will come an ease away from darkness.E
